PPStream is a network for television transmission diffusion through streams, using P2P technology. It is a similar concept to the already-known P2P file exchange programs, although on this occasion the transferred data is television images through the Internet. With this system, when more people are sharing the signal, the more comfortable and rapid will be the transfer (you see the channel more fluidly and without stoppages)).



It works as simply as a double-click on the channel you are interested in (of the list of channels situated on the left of the interface) and wait for connection. Logically it would be better with broadband. The program is in Chinese, but patches exist to translate it into Italian, which is a little easier to understand (but isn`t necessary to work the program). There also exist many webpages to inform users of program listings of channels using the PPStream network (and other similar programs), so that the user can see on what channel they wil transmit the program the user is most interested in, which are mainly sports programmes
